It’s a pleasure to all of you who participated in the AMA today.

Could you briefly introduce about yourselves?

Mr Nikhil: Hi everyone, my name is Nikhil Thawani, I am working as the Marketing Manager of Gather Network, with more than 6-years of expertise supporting businesses with 360-degree marketing strategies to establish a unique brand image in the MENA region, with an impeccable set of creative skills, innovative ideas, and successfully delivering strategy across online and offline platforms have shown a significant impact on a company’s growth.

Let’s get to the first question we’d like to know from you.

What is your project exactly and can you tell us more about your vision?

Mr Nikhil:

Gather is a platform that allows publishers to monetize without ads, provides businesses & developers access to affordable and reliable processing power.

Gather offers various solutions to the following problems:

- No one likes ads. The majority of websites and mobile apps do not make a reliable source of income with ads alone.

- Cloud Computing is expensive, the cost of computing is increasing exponentially.

Building a mining community is not an easy task for blockchain developers.

Three layers build the backbone of the Gather Ecosystem:

Gather Online (Layer 0) allows web & mobile developers to monetize from their users processing power.

Gather Network (Layer 1) is the protocol layer, a hybrid proof of work and proof of stake blockchain, where stakeholders are incentivized to maintain transparency and security.

Gather Cloud (Layer 2) provides affordable processing power to enterprises and developers.

And Gather Enterprise provides consultancy services and tooling for developers, businesses and crypto networks.

What success have you achieved in your roadmap so far? What are your next plans? Please Share your roadmap

Mr Nikhil:

- Gather Mercury Release(Gather’s Mainnet Release) went live on April 30, 2021. Community Hub and The Foundation ecosystem member vote portals went live with Gather Mercury Release.

- We’ve successfully tested the first set of Gather Private Cloud Services. Major tasks are completed with lots of improvements on File Transfer Service.

- With these new features on hand, Gather Private Cloud Demo is now ready to be tested with the actual enterprises.

Our new incubation projects are on track and our first incubate PaidtoGo’s Private sale will be launched for GTH holders soon.

- Gather Online is continuing to grow while receiving commitments and positive feedback from companies across the globe. We are working with different businesses from the entertainment industry, real estate industry, and the educational world to highlight a few. Although Gather Online is on pause right now as a deflationary measure, we are eager to re-launch Gather Online in the near future, allowing our partners to earn income for themselves and their users.

- NFT Masternode Drop -

We had our very first NFTs Masternodes Airdropped in September and we were blown away by the overwhelming response. We will have an auction on OpenSea for the available shared masternodes from the earlier batches soon. You see all your NFTs under the masternode dashboard, the earned GTH amount to date and the USD equivalent.

The next in development pipeline will be Minerva release, the developments linked with Minerva will be coming live in business priority order:

- Utility token generation on the Gather network (GRC20)

- Bridge connection with the Ethereum network

- Web staking on Gather Chain

- L2 developments have just started

- Our Series A Round is about to close and we’re excited to share the details with you very soon.

Mr Hubert: Feeling quite excited about this project, sir. I think everyone will love it and support it as well.

There are many dapp platforms these days that allow other projects to integrate Dex into their platforms. What do you think about this issue?

Mr Nikhil: Gather Network’s Layer 1 smart contracts will unlock the ability to create utility tokens, NFTs & of course dApps on Gather chain with low fixed gas fees in $GTH (~0.1$/tx).

On the other hand when integrated, Gather Online will also be a game-changer for DEX, rewarding their users & integrating DEX’s native tokens for payouts, offering a unique tool of monetization & a whole ecosystem. We also have started strategic partnerships with dApps platforms like StackOS & PAID network in the last year.

The recent development direction that Blockchain is applying is Metaverse. How has the Gather project oriented application to the project’s protocol?

Mr Nikhil: Gather Online is an income generation tool designed for all the content creators in the universe and metaverse, promising an enhanced and ad-free user experience with a reliable & scalable income model. Anything that has a CPU/GPU and is well-networked can utilize Gather Online and it applies to the metaverse too.

We are a next-gen content monetization platform existing in the metaverse with a Gather chain empowering both content creators and web users. It presents a collaborative ecosystem with facilities for publishers to monetize content with fewer or no ads and instead allows them to generate revenue via their users’ idle processing power. $GTH token supply and demand mechanics have been designed to ensure that all parties are rewarded for participation and incentivized to help grow the ecosystem. This helps create and maintain a balanced ecosystem. A major demand driver comes from the enterprise side, usage fees, and the required node collateral. As we onboard more publishers, the demand side would grow as well.

#2 I think many people here are quite interested in the $GTH token, both utility and structure… how does $GTH work as a utility token for the network and how does it benefit for both the network and the owner

GTH’s value is derived from being a medium of exchange within the ecosystem along with providing holders the opportunity to vote on the future of Gather. The specific features that use $GTH as a medium of exchange include:

1) Gas Fees and network interactions charges, settlement and processing power related charges for the Gather Cloud, and Settlement of Gather Online Rewards.

2) Providing a financial incentive to nodes to act honestly.

3) Entitling Staking holders with the right to participate in the governance and future of the Gather ecosystem

#3 Can you show or show the features that GatherNetwork likes the most about the platform, so that it can compete with other competitors? And what do you most believe about your platform? Do you have a plan to get users to choose your platform?

Gather operates in a space with limited competitors, no other company is approaching the market in the manner we are; To provide websites/applications another way of making money via Gather Online, and providing enterprises and developers a decentralized and cheaper form of cloud computing via Gather Cloud, all under one marketplace based platform.

With our layer 1, Gather blockchain, we will be incubating projects via Gather Enterprise and allowing developers to build on Gather chain with overall low gas fees, supported by grants via Gather Foundation where applicable.

#4 Do the token holders have the right to participate in the governance of the project? What kind of decisions can they vote on about the project?

GTH token holders can login with their GTH wallet & cast their vote on active proposals and they can also create their own proposals regarding any future decisions of the Gather ecosystem.

For example, recently there’s been a new community proposal created for a future bridge to Binance Smart Chain from Gather chain, and the majority voted yes, so we’re now looking for ways to make it happen and started to take action.

#5 User experience is a very important issue in most projects. Does @Gather_Network focus on this? What has #GatherNetwork done to bring the best user experience, especially to new users?

Today’s websites owners are not getting paid at the same rate as they used to, average earnings have fallen drastically. — and this is for websites with western audiences. To combat this, websites have added more ads, and have been selling your data. Other sites have added paywalls, referral, and native ads ( advertising a product or service within the general content — so it does not look like a typical ad ). The worst part of this — imagine trying to make a living off content when your audience is from Africa, India, China, or South America. You Earn even less.

Our product is stress-tested, and we use very very little of the processing power, everything you see on the website also requires processing power, even ads.

Question 1. What are your plans for spreading your project around the world? What steps have you taken for this? I think that’s why you can use social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube. What do you think?

We follow different strategies for marketing:

B2B partnership activities to expand our ecosystem, we are targeting both non-crypto (publishers, enterprises) and crypto businesses..

We have also focused on growing our community:

We have established local communities in our target regions, currently there are 14 communities and will be expanding it gradually.

The local communities are managed by Local Community managers and to keep the community active and engaged we have events like Local AMA with 3rd party local groups, Quiz, GIFs making competitions, etc.

Question 5. Are you planning to promote your project in countries / regions where English is not good? Do you have a local community for them to better understand your project?

Yes, the regions of both South and east Asia are very important to us, along with regions in Africa. As we grow we will look to build out local communities in these areas. The reason we are targeting said regions is because the payouts from advertising are much lower compared to the rest of the world. So it is easier to attract new websites and application from these regions.
