Mr Hubert: Could you briefly introduce about yourselves as well as your project?
Mr Pascal: My name is Pascal and I am the CEO and founder of Jarvis.
I am trading Forex for the past 14 years already, and for the past 10 years I have been developing companies in the retail trading industry (prop trading firm, trading arcade and trading school), which allowed me to become known in France, recognized by my peer, but most importantly it allowed me to build a strong community of +34k French speaking traders.
Mr Vsevolod: Hello, I am Vsevolod — Community Manager at Jarvis Netwrok. Started as a student at Pascals trading firm and joined Jarvis shortly after. I make sure our community gets all the updates on the project as well as answer all the questions presented.
Mr Pascal: Jarvis, to be short, is a dream for us: to unify ALL the markets under the same roof.
When we started trading crypto, we wanted a trading platform to trade on Brokers AND Exchange to trade Forex, Indexes, Stocks and Crypto on the same platform,
This is how Jarvis network was born :) When we found out that Smart contract could replace both brokers and exchanges, we decided to build a technology that allow to trade anything on the planet, instead of just a platform which connects to multiple markets.
So basically Jarvis is an ecosystem to allow anyone to trade/invest on any financial market (universalize financial market) but also which allow anyone to become a broker/liquidity provider (uberize brokerage).
We have 2 protocols (MArgineum and Synthereum) and 3 dApps (Jarvis Market, Exchange, and Wallet).
Mr Hubert: What makes the Jarvis project stand out more than the projects in the same direction at the moment?
Mr Pascal: we know there are a lot of traders in Vietnam sow we are particularly interested in the country
3 things:
- We are not 100% DeFi or CeFi, we are hybrid, so we leverage from the best of both world: we remain scalable, yet trustless and composable; this way we can compete with brokers, derivatives exchange (you could trade BTC with 20 to 60 leverage on Jarvis Market as ex)
- We already have a user-base: as I said before, I have a 34k+ community of french speaking traders who are looking at Jarvis for a while now, and I am pretty well connected in the space so I have a lot of “friends” who have community quite big. We will leverage from this to start acquiring users
- The token is designed to capture the value of the network; it is not a stupid staking which just ask you to lock your token; or a stupid utility token that allows you to pay for fees. All the tokeneconic is logic, useful for the project, and captures the value of the Jarvis network.
Mr Hubert: Who are some business partner/clients for Jarvis Network?
Mr Pascal: We do not have client per se, but users; the typical user is someone who wants to trade with leverage on stocks, indexes, cryptocurrencies, or someone who would like to have a token tracking the price of real world asset like stock, fiat, commodity etc.
for business: we are decentralized, so everyone can become a partner and start building application on the top of Jarvis :)
but we do use several tech: UMA and AAVE are our biggest tech “partner”, but UMA and AAVE are decentralized protocol, permissionless, so there are not real partner.
Mr Hubert: What are the memorable milestones of Jarvis Network in the research and development process?
Mr Pascal:
1. Margimeum v0 is on the mainnet, generated $23M of volume already; user trade Forex and Indexes for now.
2. Synthereum v0 and now v1 are on the testnet, you can now mint, redeem and convert jEUR, jCHF, jGBP and jGOLD and soon we will be adding jSP500, jDAX30, jOIL before doing security audit
3. we have setup a 0-fee fiat on-ramp which already facilitated 50K usd worth of purchase of Dai and Eth
4. we have raised 1.3M last month to fund the project
5. our token has done +2000% since the ICO, and +1000% last month, everyone is “in the money”
Mr Hubert: What does Jarvis plan to do to attract more users in the upcoming time?
Mr Pascal: Yes of course :D
We want to leverage from Education, Youtube, and Guerilla marketing to acquire user, but also with strategic integration (aave, chainlink etc.)
The idea of education is that if you create the best video to educate people about DeFi, Trading, Investment etc. you can become something like an influencer, people will follow you, and start using your product.
it is what we have done in the past: create big community by delivering a lot of value.
