Question 1. Could you briefly introduce about yourselves as well as your project?

I’m Amana from the Partisia Blockchain Marketing team, here today representing Partisia Blockchain. I am working on the KOL and Community Management.

Partisia Blockchain is a Layer 1 + 2 which is the world’s first blockchain protocol that supports both public and private transactions 100% on-chain and decentralized. Founded by the co-inventors of MPC (Multiparty Computation) and founders of the MPC Alliance, Partisia is architected and built to create and preserve a free and open internet controlled by the users.

Question 2. What makes the PARTISIA BLOCKCHAIN project stand out more than the projects in the same direction at the moment?

Partisia Blockchain is a layer 1 blockchain that was architected and designed to solve for scalability, insecure interoperability, and to bring true privacy to blockchain. We achieve solving the scalability by having sharding at the protocol and smart contract level. We create the world’s most secure interoperability by utilizing Partisia’s vast historical software libraries of MPC technology, particularly in the field of threshold key management, to create an open source version of fireblocks, where instead of a few private parties managing secret keys, an open network of hundreds of node operators are the entities facilitating the cross chain value transfer and managing secret keys. We also use the MPC token as refund collateral inside the bridge in case a bridge were to get hacked, there is an automatic refund mechanism built into the network. This design and implementation creates more secure, transparent, and asset backed bridging.

Finally, we bring multiparty computation, zero knowledge smart contracts to market which allow for enterprise adoption of blockchains where massive networks of private data can be computed on in private environments, and the transparency of blockchain can be leveraged without violating and private data requirements. These smart contracts are also available as a second layer privacy service for other blockchains, which creates a built in network effect for the developer communities to leverage our Zero Knowledge, MPC technology without any switching cost. Our partnership with Emurgo, the co-founding group of Cardano, to bridge privacy to Cardano mainnet, demonstrates our built in network effect and strategy to grow our technology usage amongst all the other large developer / blockchain networks.

Question 3. Who are some business partners/clients for PARTISIA BLOCKCHAIN?

We have partnered Emurgo, with the co-founding entity of Cardano, to deploy cross chain zero knowledge smart contract capabilities to Cardano. This demonstrates our built in network effect and strategy to grow our technology usage amongst all the other large developer / blockchain networks.

We’ve also partnered with Red.org, one of the most famous charities co-founded by Bono to raise money for charity using NFT’s.

Another partnership is with Orginall and the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) Secretariat, to launch healthies, a counterfeit goods detection platform using Partisia Blockchain. This technology will further support the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) Secretariat, with whom OriginAll has signed an exclusive agreement in its mandate to create a safe trade zone across African countries. With OriginAll’s partnership with 54 African nations, Healthies can be potentially rolled out to over 1.3 billion people.

Question 4. What are the memorable milestones of Partisia Blockchain in the research and development process?

Born in 2008, Partisia is the world’s pioneer in MPC technology, facilitating the first ever commercial use of MPC in a Danish Sugar Auction. Since then, Partisia has provided data privacy solutions with it’s MPC technology to global leaders such as Bosch, SBI Japan, Tora. In 2017, Partisia Decided to merge MPC technology with blockchain technology to bring better use of MPC to the world. During 2017–2020, Partisia began architecting Partisia Blockchain to solve for scalability, interoperability, and bring MPC to smart contracts, as open source technology that the developer communities could leverage for the first time in history, removing the barrier to entry for this world changing, state of the art technology. In 2020, FINMA of Switzerland approved the Partisia Blockchain Foundation as the home entity for the open sourcing of decades of R&D work to become the launch of Partisia Blockchain. Since then, Partisia Blockchain has raised $48MM from top tier blockchain funds such as Emurgo Ventures, Ausvic Capital, P2P.org, and more.

Question 5. What does PARTISIA BLOCKCHAIN plan to do to attract more users in the upcoming time?

Our main focus is exchange listings! These will be revealed in the next few months. Exchange listings are important for any token project.

We have more partnerships to announce which allows users to trust in our project! For example Polygon:

The Partisia network will grant Polygon developers a new platform for privacy-first computations and unlock a new type of smart contract for Polygon’s Internet of Blockchains. What this means is we have added another platform to Polygon’s vast ecosystem, focusing on data privacy and confidentiality and enabling decentralized multi-party zero-knowledge computations.

#2. Partisia Blockchain, according to your documentation, uses a two-sided approach to bring ZK algorithms to blockchains. How can a specific blend of accountability and transparency on the one hand, and privacy and secrecy on the other, work with this two-sided approach?

While initial attempts to address the weakness of confidentiality and privacy on blockchains have been made, the Partisia Blockchain take it one step further and provides a complete platform for orchestrating and offering Zero-Knowledge (ZK) computations on-chain, off-chain, and inter-chain (across blockchains). ZK computation adds privacy and confidentiality to blockchains in a decentralized fashion with no single point of trust. There is a great differentiator in the Zero Knowledge.

The Partisia Blockchain approach focuses on interoperability while facilitating both privacy and transactions across chains. MPC! Partisia Blockchain was founded by the co-inventors of MPC (Multiparty Computation) and founders of the MPC Alliance.

The single most important contribution of our project is to bring general privacy-preserving computation to blockchain and most notably Secure Multiparty Computation (MPC). MPC is a revolutionary technology that allows us to protect our data, not only when they are being stored or communicated, but also while they are being processed. Using Secure Multiparty Computation, individuals and organizations can allow their private data to be used for a certain purpose, while retaining complete control over the data.

#5. I understand Your mission is to build a WEB 3.0 infrastructure without a single trust point, but specifically web3 is still in a very early stage. So can you tell us what contribution you think you can make to web3? How ready are you to start the Web 3.0 era?

Our current internet infrastructure, known as ‘Web 2.0’, could be described as information centric. The next generation of internet, Web 3.0, could be described as user centric. Built on a decentralized infrastructure that empowers the individual, Web 3.0 is set to give data ownership and power back to the individual. It promises a more secure and transparent environment for the holding and sharing of data.

At Partisia Blockchain, we are focused on building a new sustainable data-driven society by facilitating a balance between protecting and utilizing data. While transparency is built into blockchain by design, Partisia Blockchain’s MPC solution takes that further, and introduces an element of confidentiality through a network of computation nodes that process encrypted data with zero-knowledge about that data. MPC is required to be staked for the node validators and is also used for our industry first collateralised bridge which functions as a cross-chain lightning network.

#2. Most users only care about immediate benefits rather than the real value of the project in the long-term. How can Your Project convince users invest to your platform in the long-term?

As we are the one of a kind; different to other Layer 1s in the field. Partisia Blockchain is a Layer 1 + 2 which is the world’s first blockchain protocol that supports both public and private transactions 100% on-chain and decentralized.

Our tech goes beyond building a blockchain as our Privacy Preserving Technologies is solving for the world’s largest problems in line with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). We have also partnered with (RED) to raise money for the Global Fund, one of the world’s largest funders of global health. This included our NFT drop that will raised funds to fight COVID-19 in Africa where countries continue to focus on addressing urgent vaccination demand and delivery challenges.

#3. Currently a lot of people are looking at NFTs, metaverse, and games. Can you tell me what advantages will you have in this field future?

Nfts are still in its nascent stages and will evolve to have more utility before being adopted en masse. NFTs currently have little to no use case when it comes to defi. Thought id also note nfts are hot but defi has far larger volumes. #5. COVID 19 has slowed down many economies around the world but as a crypto business, does it affect you negatively or positively? Are you still on track to achieve your goals or are you planning a new development?

As our blockchain was still under development during the midst of COVID-19 we weren’t affected negatively.

The main challenge is the current crypt market state! We are assessing it day by day but we are still gone ahead with our public sale which is live! So yes we are still on track and read as ever to achieve our goals!
